Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and specialized in Psychiatry through the Brazilian Psychiatric Association (ABP) and the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB).

Head of Psychiatry and residency preceptor at Hospital Augusto de Oliveira Camargo (HAOC), and coordinator of psychiatric emergency services in Indaiatuba, São Paulo. Professor of Psychopharmacology and of the Psychiatry track within the medical internship program at Max Planck University Center (UniMAX).

At CISM, he serves as an associate researcher in the SAVE Study project, which is part of the Implementation Science module.
